CBS’s Modified Fall Schedule Now Includes ‘Yellowstone’ and Numerous Paramount+ Series

According to Deadline, the CBS network has modified their fall schedule. These changes are, in part, due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. This new schedule now includes Paramount+’s SEAL Team, various reality programs, Yellowstone, and the BBC version of Ghosts.

SEAL Team, created by Benjamin Cavell (Justified, Homeland), revolves around a unit of the Navy SEALs. As Deadline notes, it will air on Thursdays at ten o’clock, which was a time slot originally meant for the series Elsbeth. Also originally from Paramount+, the documentary series FBI True will air on CBS alongside FBI.

According to Deadline, the CEO and President of CBS George Cheeks explained that the network has been contemplating which Paramount+ series to air. He stated, “We’re spending a lot of time looking at research and figuring out which are the ones that A, have the best shot keeping our audience engaged but also that could really help drive awareness.”

In addition, the drama series Yellowstone will be airing on CBS as well starting in the fall. The series was created by Taylor Sheridan (Wind River, Tulsa King) and John Linson (The Outsider, The Comedian), and will be ending with a fifth and final season.

Other additions include the BBC sitcom Ghosts, which will air on Thursdays right after the United States version of Ghosts.

Deadline notes that the game shows Lotería Loca and Raid the Cage will also be making their way on the network. Hosted by Jamie Camil (Jane the Virgin, Coco), Lotería Loca will air on Mondays at eight o’clock. Raid the Cage will air on Fridays at nine o’clock p.m. The series Buddy Games, inspired by Josh Duhamel’s (Safe Haven, Bandit) real-life tradition with childhood friends, will air on Thursdays at nine o’clock p.m.

CBS modifying their fall schedule is just another change that must be made due to the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, and it likely will not be the last.
