CBS All Access Renews ‘The Good Fight’ For a Fourth Season

CBS All Access will renew The Good Fight for a fourth season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The show was the first original series on CBS’ streaming service CBS All Access and is the longest running one so far.

Julie McNamara, executive vice president of original content said “The Good Fight is in the middle of an incredible third season and continues to be a flagship original series for the service.” McNamara also said “Its visionary creators, Robert and Michelle King, and the extraordinary cast continue to explore the cultural climate with insight, humor and courage, and we can’t wait to see where these indelible characters go next.”

The renewal comes halfway through the series’ 10-episode third season. New episodes are released every Thursday and the season finale is set to air May 16. In the current season, the King’s have included real politics with Liz (Audra McDonald) and Diane (Christine Baranski) joining the fight against the Trump administration. CBS All Access put it as “Diane [trying] to figure out whether you can resist a crazy administration without going crazy yourself.”

David Zucker, the Kings, Liz Glotzer, Brooke Kennedy and David W. Zucker all executive produce the series. In the case of real life situations occurring, the creators have backup plans. “This season is about finding out what that storm is” Robert King said referencing a cryptic 2017 quote made by President Donald Trump. He followed by saying “It’s about what happens when the guardrails are coming off of our institutions.”

CBS All Access lineup includes The Twilight Zone, the comedy No Activity, the true-crime drama Interrogation, The Twilight Zone, and Star Trek: Discovery.
