Cartoon Network Confirms Release Schedule For The Revival Series Of ‘Regular Show’

It’s been 16 years since we were introduced to Regular Show on Cartoon Network. With a revival underway, we will witness never before seen episodes and the adventures Mordecai and Rigby will embark on.

For those who don’t know, Regular Show is a series that involves two friends named Mordecai and Rigby. The two hold a job at a park where they try to complete mundane tasks, however, something bizarre manages to happen and the two must work together in order to fix it. The park is also homed to many other workers who also join in on the bizarre antics of the show. The characters involve Benson Mordecai and Rigby’s boss, Skips an immortal who has seen a thing or two that has happened at the park, Pops an elderly man whose father owns the park, and finally two other employees named Muscle Man and High Five Ghost. Today is the premiere of the first episode for the revival series Regular Show: The Lost Tapes. According to Comicbook, the series will debut on may 11 at 4 p.m. The series will fit into the overall canon of the first Regular Show, and the first ten episodes will drop this month. The showrunner J.G. Quintel (Close Enough, Regular Show) mentioned that this revival series’ premiere will answer many questions that was left for us in the original series.

Returning for the series is, Quintel (Close Enough, Regular Show), William Salyers (Dandelion, Fallout 76: Burning Springs), Mark Hamil (Invincible, The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants), Sam Marin (World War Z, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir), and Minty Lewis (The Great North, Centaurworld). The series is produced by Sam Register (Tiny Toons Looniversity, Primal), Ryan Slater (The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball, Apple & Onion), and Sean Szeles (Long Live the Royals, Sanjay and Craig).

The episodes will drop this week and there will be a total of 40 episodes. The series will also be streamed on HBO Max in June.
