A 90-minute Britney Spears documentary is coming to E! on Sunday, Dec. 22 at 8 p.m.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Spears will get a documentary that chronicles her career as she prepared for her two-year Las Vegas residency.
I Am Britney Jean offers “an intimate look at one of the most overexposed yet under-revealed stars of today as she faces one of her biggest challenges ever while finishing her album, shooting videos, doing press — and being a mom.”
The documentary airs five days before Britney: Piece of Me kicks off at Planet Hollywood, December 27.
Producing the documentary is World of Wonder (RuPaul’s Drag Race, Million Dollar Listing). Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato (Becoming Chaz, In Vogue: The Editor’s Eye) directed.
Spears’ album, Britney Jean, hits stores Dec. 3.
