Grey’s Anatomy‘s Brandon Scott and The Secret Life of The American Teenager‘s Renee Olstead have been cast in ABC Family’s new show, Work Mom.
The Hollywood Reporter has learned that the two young actors have secured regular roles in ABC Family’s upcoming show, written by Grant Levy and Dominik Rothbard (formerly writers of Bunheads).
Work Mom is a workplace comedy that follows Heather’s (played by Olstead) career; she is promoted at her digital marketing job and somehow ends up hiring her own mother to work beneath her. As for Scott, he will play an employer at that same firm, who Heather chooses to be ‘Team Leader’.
ABC Family hired the duo in March, after cancelling Bunheads at the end of its first season; Work Mom will air next season.
