Billy Eichner, host of Billy on the Street will star in the upcoming USA comedy, Difficult People, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Eichner will team up with head writer and long time friend Julie Klausner in the comedy. The show will center around the two as frustrated New York comedians who hate everybody but each other. Amy Poehler will executive produce the comedy, which USA has ordered a pilot of.
Ordering this show expands USA’s repertoire of original scripted comedies, which already includes Sirens and Playing House.
