’24’ Returns: Ratings Remain Steady

Jack Bauer has returned to prime time TV and 8.1 million viewers watched.

The two-hour premiere of 24: Live Another Day averaged a 2.6 rating among adults 18-49. The last year 24 was on air, in 2010, it averaged a 2.1 rating and 9.1 million viewers. This loss of viewership can be attributed to a number of factors, largely that live viewing of TV is down overall due to On Demand, DVR, and internet viewing. 24 placed second in its time slot behind The Voice which had a 3.0 with adults.
