Burton and Taylor, starring Helena Bonham Carter as Elizabeth Taylor and Dominic West as Richard Burton, follows the turbulent relationship of this Hollywood couple. BBC America has aired the first trailer for the small screen TV film. The film takes place circa 1983 and while working on the play Private Lives.
They worked together on the play years after their second divorce, setting the scene for a confusing pair. Burton and Taylor succeeds Lifetimes portrayal of the couple titled Liz and Dick, starring Lindsay Lohan and was not very warmly accepted by the 3.5 million viewers.
Burton and Taylor is due this fall in the US on BBC America.
