‘Ash vs Evil Dead’ Season 2 Teaser Promises Guts and Glory

STARZ released a new teaser for the highly anticipated second season of Ash Vs Evil Dead.

The 30-second teaser features intense music, Ash clipping on his trademark chainsaw arm plus there’s some violence, humor, blood, gore, and guts crammed into the teaser. Basically everything The Evil Dead fans loved from the original film.

According to TV Series Finale, the second season of Ash vs Evil Dead will feature 10 half-hour episodes. The series is executive produced by Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert, Bruce Campbell, Ivan Raimi, and Craig DiGregorio who serves as showrunner and executive producer.

The upcoming season will kickoff with Ash leaving his beloved Jacksonville behind as he returns to his hometown of Elk Grove. Which is where he confronts Ruby, his former enemy. However, these two will need to put aside their difference and form an alliance as Elk Grove soon becomes the engulfed with evilness.

That cast includes Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead, Burn Notice) as Ash Wiliams; Lucy Lawless (Salem, Spartacus) as Ruby, who now possesses the mighty Necronomicon; Ray Santiago (Touch, Meet the Fockers) as Pablo Simon Bolivar, Ash’s loyal sidekick who’s still trying to deal with the trauma he suffered in the cabin; and Dana DeLorenzo (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas) as Kelly Maxwell, who is devastated by the recent death of her parents, plots revenge against The Evil Dead.

Other cast members to join the newest season are Lee Majors, Ted Raimi, and Michelle Hurd join the cast this season as Brock Williams, Ash’s father, Chet Kaminski, Ash’s childhood best friend, and Linda, Ash’s high school love respectively.
