‘American Horror Story’ Season Twelve Premiere Date Revealed Amid Strikes

According to Deadline, FX has finally revealed the premiere date for the very anticipated season twelve of American Horror Story. Ryan Murphy (Glee) and Brad Falchuk’s (Pose) horror anthology’s latest installment will premiere on Wednesday, September 20th on FX. The new season will be titled AHS: Delicate and will premiere in two parts throughout the season. The official teaser for the series was revealed earlier in July and can be viewed down below.

According to Deadline, this season which is described as a feminist update of Rosemary’s Baby and Danielle Valentine’s thriller novel Delicate Condition comes from showrunner Halley Feiffer. Feiffer is known for other works such as The Squid and the Whale and He’s Way More Famous Than You. The season will follow a woman named Anna Alcott, a talented actress who has convinced herself that someone sinister is trying their hardest not to allow her pregnancy to take place.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series will be releasing the first part of the season in September amid the current strike. Even though the production has been shut down during the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strike work stoppage, FX is still preparing to premiere part one of the season that has already been in production.

Murphy had told The Hollywood Reporter that Feiffer ‘’has written a fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done.”
