A&E Cancels ‘The Glades’

In light of recent news of A&E giving Longmire another season, they will now be canceling The Glades.

The season-four finale acheived the most viewers of 3.4 million total viewers, exceeding every other season.The 9 p.m. Monday show averaged 2.6 million viewers during the season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Creator Clifton Campbell’s show followed “a Chicago detective who takes a job with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Premiering July 2010, the drama was the only one given another season after the first by A&E and its debut maintained the most viewers, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
