ABC Family is premiering a new mystery series this Summer.
The new drama, Twisted, follows the story of a teenage boy in a small town. Avan Jogia (Victorious) plays troubled teen Danny Desai, who returns home after spending five years in juvenile detention.
The show stars Avan Jogia, Maddie Hasson, Kylie Bunbury, Kimberly Quinn, Sam Robards, Ashton Moio and Denise Richards.
Jogia’s character, Danny, tries to reconnect with his two best friends from childhood (Hasson and Bunbury), as well as make amends with his mother (Richards).
After a female classmate is mysteriously murdered, the suspecting town points a finger at Danny, who is already an outcast.
ABC announces that the series is executive produced by Gavin Polone, David Babcock and Adam Milch. Milch also wrote the pilot. The drama will premiere on ABC Family on June 11.
