I know it’s already January, and you are probably completely over the holidays and all the lights and decorations are once again stashed in a box in the basement. So the last thing you probably want to see is any reminder of the holiday season. But that’s probably because you haven’t seen Ellie Kemper as the title character from Unbreakable Kimmy Shmidt dressed as an elf.
I mean, just look at that smile. Isn’t she the happiest elf you’ve ever seen? New photos have been released teasing the second season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and all we really know is Kimmy will be spending time as one of Santa’s helpers. We can only assume this must mean there will be a Christmas episode, and her new wardrobe probably means Kimmy is finding new ways to supplement her nanny salary.
We expect more of Kimmy’s adorable awkwardness in the coming season, and the show may explore more of her search for love. NewNowNext reveals Kemper said, “She’s not really ’juggling’ this year,” which seems to indicate Kimmy will look to go steady with just one male suitor.
We can also look forward to meeting some new characters this season.
Anna Camp is set to guest star in season 2, but little is known about her role. She and Jane Krakowski look friendly, though.
Netflix has yet to announce the exact say, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt will premiere, but we can prepare for some serious binge-watching some time in March.
