With a 3.4 million final episode viewing, Mr. Robinson might be in limbo of retuning to NBC for a second season.
According to deadline.com, the series might not return for a second season but based on last years’ NBC comedy; Undatable there might be a second season for Mr. Robinson.
Even though, the viewings for the finale was low, it is suspected that the late start at 9:30 might be the cause of the lost of viewers.
Mr. Robinson was a test show that had mixed reviews. Mr. Robinson is about a teacher that didn’t make much of his win in a big music show, so he ends up teaching music at a Chicago high school. The storyline is a little “corny” with Robinson’s high school crush visiting but still not much hope for him being a candidate for her.
NBC however, will most likely not make a final decision until all their pilot shows are aired and based on reviews and views a final decision for season two will be made.
