‘We Need to Talk’ is a Female-Led Look on Sports

The landmark sports talk show premieres September 30 and features Lesley Visser, Tracy Wolfson, Amy Trask, Dana Jacobson, and Allie LaForce.

CBS Sports’s all-female helmed sports talk show, We Need to Talk, fills the longstanding absence of female voices in sports journalism. The show arrives at an opportune time, when women in sports and its corresponding media are in most need of responsible representation. As CBS Sports chairman Sean McManus puts, “A sports show featuring all women is long overdue, and we are thrilled to be able to make television history this fall with the national launch of We Need to Talk.”

The show is led by the NFL’s sole female game director, Suzanne Smith, and also features commentary by Andrea Kremer, Lisa Leslie, Dara Torres, Swin Cash, Summer Sanders, Laila Ali, and Katrina Adams.
