Wayne Brady has RSVP-d to How I Met Your Mother’s wedding-themed final season.
Brady has played Barney’s (Neil Patrick Harris) brother James in five episodes of the long-running sitcom. His last appearance was in a 2011 episode.
He will be appearing in the show’s ninth season on a recurring basis, as the entire season will take place over one long weekend leading up to Barney and Robin’s wedding.
The actor tweeted the news on Monday, saying, “Just got back from my 1st HIMYM fitting of the season! Can’t wait to shoot on Wed! You may be seeing a little more “James” this season! Yes!”
Many details about HIMYM’s final season are currently being kept under wraps, but more are expected to emerge next week at San Diego Comic-Con, where the cast and creators will be present.
