Warren Kole joins “White Collar” cast

Warren Kole will be returning to USA network after his stint on Fox’s the Following, the Huffington Post reports. The former Common Law star has been cast in a recurring role for the fifth season of White Collar, playing Neal Caffrey’s (Matt Bomer) new handler.

The fourth season finale, staying true to White Collar’s pattern of nail-biting cliffhangers, saw Peter Burke (Tim DeKay) take the fall for a crime committed by Neal’s father, James Bennett (Treat Williams).

Kole’s character, Agent David Seigel, steps in to replace Peter while he is behind bars. Described as “noticeably young, handsome and ambitious,” it seems likely that Agent Seigel will clash with Neal as they work to solve cases together.

Other guest stars on tap for White Collar’s fifth season include Richard Thomas, Zachary Booth and Kara Hayward as members of a wealthy Manhattan family.

The series is set to return this Fall.
