Vivian Schiller is saying her goodbyes to NBC News in January.

NBC News senior VP and chief digital officer announced yesterday that she is joining Twitter.

The ex-NPR CEO will lead Twitter’s news media team, which has the main objective to improve “[the use] of Twitter by journalists and newsrooms”. A lot of jobs have been created in the past weeks and Vivian will be leading them.

Schiller announced the move herself on Twitter just yesterday.
