Verizon Announces A New Bundle That Includes Netflix And Max With Ads For Ten Dollars A Month

According to Deadline, the network Verizon has announced new bundle that includes both Netflix and Max with ads. This bundle will be available to myPlan customers beginning on Thursday, December 7th, and it will cost ten dollars a month. Customers can purchase this bundle in addition to Verizon’s existing Disney bundle, which includes Disney+, Hulu with ads, and ESPN+ with ads. The Disney bundle also costs ten dollars a month.

In a newsletter, Verizon spoke about their new bundle. The company explained, “With myPlan, Verizon customers choose which perks they want to add to their unlimited plans and, at only $10 per month for each perk, enjoy services they love at a great value, like Netflix and Max. We’re offering customers more choice and value than the rigid, competitive plans that force you to pay for things you don’t need.”

The company continued, “Verizon is the first provider to offer a bundle of Netflix & Max (with ads) and it’s available to all myPlan customers. Verizon is using its strategic relationships with the biggest players in the content industry to continue to unlock more value for its wireless customers.”

As Deadline notes, the Chief Executive Officer of Warner Bros. Discovery David Zaslav spoke about the idea of bundling in a previous conference. He stated, “There should be a consolidation, and I think it’s more likely to happen in the repackaging and marketing of products together.”

He continued, “For me, it seems very clear that if we were to package this great product that we have with others, if we were to wake up tomorrow and in each market, if we’re the #1, 2 or 3 product, if we were marketed with 2 or 3 for a specific price, it would be great for consumers. It would probably reduce churn. We’d both be marketing one product.”

With the news of a Netflix and Max bundle, Verizon customers can have access to five streaming services for twenty dollars a month if they purchase both available bundling plans.
