On Tuesday, the DIY Network announced that a follow up project to its original Vanilla Ice Project will premiere in October, The Hollywood Reporter explains.
The follow-up titled Vanilla Ice Goes Amish, takes the ’90s pop icon-turned-handyman/renovator deep into the country’s largest Amish settlement in Ohio. There, Rob Van Winkle aka Vanilla Ice learns about hand craftsmanship, barn building and brotherly bonding.
In the first episode, Vanilla Ice tackles a kitchen renovation for an Amish family without using power tools or modern-day gadgets. He learns how to continue his handy-work without the use of electricity.
Vanilla Ice Goes Amish will premiere Saturday, October 12 at 10 p.m. on the DIY Network.
