USA Network Renews ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ for a Second Season

The cable network has ordered a second season for the reality series that centers a rich Georgia man and his big family.

Chrisley Knows Best has been renewed for a second season with 12 episodes (instead of eight) after the episode from April 8 had 1.25 million viewers: 823,000 in the advertiser-coveted adults 18-49 demographic as noted by The Hollywood Reporter. The reality show centers on a rich family from Atlanta led by Todd Chrisley. The series show his “colorful clan” which includes his wife, five children and two grandchildren.

Heather Olander, the USA’s senior vb alternative programming, said in a statement: “We knew from the moment we met Todd there was no other character quite like him and whether or not you agree with his parenting style, he has certainly struck a chord with our viewers as their new guilty pleasure,” Olander continued by adding, “We’re excited to continue the laughs and be there for more genuine family moments with Todd and his family in season two.”

Chrisley Knows Best is produced by Maverick TV and All3Media while Adam Greener, Jim Sayer, Eli Holzman and Stephen Lambert serve as the executive producers. Stephanie Bloch Chambers was the showrunner/executive producer for the first season that will end on April 22.
