According to ScreenRant, Prime Video’s series Upload has recently received positive update for a possible fourth season by creator Greg Daniels (The Office). This news comes before the premiere of season three which will air two episodes on the streamer on October 20th.
According to ScreenRant, Daniels recently had an interview with Collider before the debut of the new season. In the interview, Daniel spoke about the possibility of there being a fourth season before the new one even aired. Daniel states that possibility might happen due to the series being, “the number one most-viewed half-hour show on Prime Video.”
Daniels said, ‘’We’re actually the number one most-viewed half-hour show on Prime Video, so it’s kind of cool. They’re supportive of the show, and I’m pretty optimistic that we’re starting up Season four soon.’’
Daniels continued, ‘’In the Season four writers’ room, something might come up that would change it. I don’t know. You gotta look at the whole season and say to yourself, “What’s the shape of that season next season gonna be? How do we get something that’s a throughline that has a ton of interesting aspects enough for a whole season? So, I don’t know. I would say, I think I know what’s gonna happen.’’
Upload follows the story of a dead computer programmer who has been uploaded into a digital afterlife. As he gets used to his new life in a digital afterlife he eventually befriends his angel who is his real-world handler, and afterward, many questions about his death arise.
The series includes Robbie Amell (The Duff) as Nathan Brown, Andy Allo (Star Wars: The Bad Batch) as Nora Antony, Allegra Edwards (New Girl) as Ingrid Kannerman, Zainab Johnson (Ramy) as Aleesha, Kevin Bigley (Animal Control) as Luke, and Josh Banday (Man with a Plan) as Ivan Spelich, and many others.
Season three of Upload airs on Prime Video on October 20th.
