Deadline writes that there is a new tier of peacock’s ad-free subscription, called Premium Plus. This new tier will also be available on Roku after an agreement on NBCUniverisal working together.
According to Deadline, outside of the sports package, the top plan in Peacock’s inventory. The price was $16.99 per month or $169.99 a year, beginning in the next few months which bonds the ties with NBCU and Roku. The companies have come together to make a deal with an NBC Olympics hub for the Paris 2024 Summer Games. They also made a deal for a streaming platform on Roku customers for the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics. Both companies being mildly successful.
Deadline notes NBCU also made many deals to secure more channels for Peacock on Amazon Prime Video Channels, as well as YouTube Sports Channels. The deal above is made due in effect in the coming weeks. The Premium Subscriptions hub is fully working into the Roku platform for the U.S. and Mexico, reaching out to many of your households. Roku announced last week it has streamed many of its shows and movies to many of its streamers. The company has tons of SVOD offerings into its streaming hubs, which lets viewers use a single login with many profiles experience less trouble an anguish with payments and management of subscriptions. Peacock ended 2025 with 44 million subscribers after adding another three million streamers in the fourth quarter of the year. It has had a lot of new subscribers with the addition of NBA games. More subscribers coming 2026 for the month calling it “Legendary February” by many marketers. By the start of the month of February, Peacock as well as NBCU had the Super Bowl, Milan Winter Olympics, and the NBA All-Star Game.
This week on Thursday, Comcast is reporting a new set of updated numbers for Peacock when it sets a all new first-quarter earnings results. Roku will report this information April 30.
