It was reported back in May that Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher would be gaining new co-star on Two and a Half Men. That character, according to Huffington Post, is Jenny; Charlie Harper’s (Charlie Sheen) illegitimate daughter, a 21-year-old lesbian from New York.
“I think it would be great have that voice on the show from a different perspective,” Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre told reporters at TCA. “The show has had enough testosterone to last a lifetime.”
The role of Jenny has yet to be cast. The role of her mother also remains open, though rumors are spreading that Selma Blair is in the running since her feud with Sheen on his new series Anger Management ended with her being fired from the show by Sheen.
“Part of the fun in this has been creating a character that is equal to the task of stepping on the stage with Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher. That’s a big job,” Lorre said regarding Jenny. “The idea of the character brings a healthy amount of decadence, which is always fun on Two and a Half Men.”
In the upcoming season 11, Angus T. Jones will not be returning as series regular, though he will return as a guest star.
Two and a Half Men Season 11 premieres Thursday, September 26 at 9:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
