Two and a Half Men was once about two brothers living together in a Malibu beach house. The show starred Charlie Sheen as the womanizing bachelor who took in his brother (Jon Cryer) and nephew (Angus T. Jones).
Charlie Sheen left the show after a very public feud with the network. He was replaced by a new character: rich man Walden Schmidt, played by Ashton Kutcher.
For the 10th season, one of the remaining regulars, Angus T. Jones left the show. He will return in a recurring role. With only Jon Cryer remaining from the original cast, the show is almost unrecognizable.
Deadline first reported the new change coming next season. Reportedly, Cryer and Kitcher will be joined by another cast member!
The new character will be Charlie’s long lost daughter. She will be in her late teens or early twenties. Entertainment Weekly reveals that she will appear at the beach house, looking for her father. After that she will move into the beach house as well and be a regular cast member. No word yet on the casting for Charlie’s daughter.
These changes will begin in the 11th season.
Tune for the season 10 premier at CBS on September 17.
