Tom Hopper To Join ‘The Terminal List: Dark Wolf’

According to Deadline, Tom Hopper (Umbrella Academy) has been cast in the prequel series on Prime Video called The Terminal List: Dark Wolf. Hopper will play Raife Hastings, who will be a series regular on the show. Hastings is described as a “hunter, protector, guardian and Navy SEAL.”

The show is created by the author of The Terminal List Jack Carr as well as the season one creator and showrunner David DiGilio (Strange Angel). Deadline says that the prequel is an espionage thriller that allows viewers an inside look at Ben Edwards’ journey from being a Navy SEAL to CIA paramilitary operator, all while the show explores nthe darker side of warfare as well s the cost of human life.

ScreenRant said that season one of The Terminal List told the story of a character named Reece and his attempts to uncover the triuth of a conspiracy after a mission gone haywire has left him and his family in danger.

ScreenRant then went onto detail the fact that The Terminal List became one of Prime Video’s most-watched shows upon its release, receiving millions of viewers. This led to season two being greenlit by the company. Shortly after season two was greenlit, the announcement of the prequel series also being greenlit came to light earlier this year.

Hopper will play a role opposite the leading actors, Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights) and Chris Pratt (Jurassic World), says Deadline. Kitsch and Pratt also have titles as executive producers through Indivisible Productions. They executive produce alongside Antoine Fuqua and Kat Samick, through Hill District Media. Other key players include author Jack Carr, showrunner David DiGilio, pilot director Frederick E.O. Toye (Truth Be Told), writer/former Army Ranger Max Adams, and actor/writer/former Navy SEAL Jared Shaw. The show itself is co-produced by Amazon Studios and MRC Television/Civic Center Media.

Currently, there is no official release date for The Terminal List: Dark Wolf.
