TNT Series ‘Snowpiercer’ Will Release First Part of Season Two Finale Early on V.O.D

Snowpiercer audiences are in for a treat. The TNT sci-fi action series is dropping the first hour of it’s two-part second season finale early on Saturday, March 27, via Deadline

Though fans will get this early look at the finale, they’ll have to exercise patience for part two. The first half, titled “The Show Must Go On,” will be available to watch on all TNT streaming platforms starting on Saturday. The season finale in its entirety will then air as planned on Monday, March 29 starting at 9 p.m. E.T on TNT.

Season two of Snowpiercer shook things up with the addition of a new villain, Mr. Wilford, portrayed by Sean Bean (Game of Thrones). Throughout the second season, Wilford has gone head to head with Layton, portrayed by Daveed Diggs (Hamilton), as they fight for power and control over Snowpiercer. Melanie, portrayed by Jennifer Connelly (Only the Brave), has gone on a mission of her own, leading the charge on a new discovery that could prove revolutionary for everyone.

The second season cast also includes Alison Wright (The Americans), Rowan Blanchard (The Goldbergs), Mickey Summer (Marriage Story), Iddo Goldberg (Peaky Blinders), Lena Hall (Good Girls Revolt), Katie McGuinnes (The Borgias), Steven Ogg (The Tick), Sam Otto (The State), Roberto Urbina (Narcos), and Sheila Vand (24: Legacy).

Based on the 2013 film of the same name, it starred Chris Evans (Avengers), Kang-Ho Song (Parasite), Tilda Swinton (The Dead Don’t Die), and John Hurt (Merlin). Directed by Academy Award winner Bong Joon-Ho (Parasite), he also co-executive produces the television series.

Snowpiercer has already been renewed for third season. All seasons can be streamed on TNT, along with season one also available to stream on HBO Max. Graeme Manson (Orphan Black), Marty Adelstein (Aquarius), Becky Clements (Hanna), Ben Rosenblatt (The Alienist: Angel of Darkness), Scott Derrickson (Into the Dark), and Matthew O’Connor (Somewhere Between) also executive-produce.
