TLC 2014-2015 Upfront Programming

TLC announced their 2014-2015 upfront programming with more than 500 hours of original programming in 2014 alone.

There will be 44 new and returning series to TLC. The network had a great start for 2014 and with the momentum of their viewers; they may have their best year ever. Viewers are watching, tweeting and connecting with record numbers with the real people and heartfelt stories on the network’s slate.

“As our success shows, everyone needs a little TLC. At the center of the network are our core viewers – we call them the Heart Seekers,” Marjorie Kaplan, Group President for TLC said. “They’re the families, young couples, moms, and ‘moms to be’ who watch us every week, and we’re evolving our brand to give them even more of what they love.”

TLC centers their programming on family and relationships to bring their viewers an emotional experience they will not forget.

TLC’s current running series are 19 Kids and Counting, Little People, Say Yes to the Dress, Something Borrowed, Something New, I Found The Gown, 90 Day Fiancé, Cake Boss, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, Sister Wives, Long Island Medium, The Little Couple, Who Do You Think You Are?, Breaking Amish: Brave New World, and Breaking Amish: LA.

A Duggar Leaves Home (New special, 2Q 2014) – Amy Duggar, cousin to 19 Kids & Counting family, moves to Nashville to pursue a singing career.

Kate Plus 8 Special (working title) (New special, 2Q 2014) – TLC’s Family Reunion visits the Gosselin clan and gets updates from Kate as the sextuplets turn10.

The Leah Remini Project (wt) (New series, 3Q 2014) – Actress Leah Remini invites viewers to experience her wisecracking, no-nonsense, hardworking family.

Listed Sisters (wt) (New series, 4Q 2014) – The fast paced real estate world follows the most entrepreneurial sister duos across America during the height of selling season.

Long Lost Family (wt) (New special, 3Q 2014) – Individuals are in search of loved ones who they once knew or have never met.

Quints By Surprise: 5 Years Old (New special, 2Q 2014) – TLC Family Reunion goes to Austin to visit the Jones family and catch up as they celebrate the quintuplets’ fifth birthday.

Risking It All (wt) (New series, 4Q 2014) – Families decide to move “off the grid” in hopes of reconnecting with each other.
