Tina Fey’s Comedy Pilot Directed by Pamela Fryman Gets Pilot Order

The untitled multi-camera project got a series commitment from Fox in August.

The comedy project from Matt Hubbard, the co-executive producer from 30 Rock, creator/co-showrunner Tina Fey and co-showrunner Robert Carlock has received a green light for the pilot. Pamela Fryman (How I Met Your Mother) will be the executive producer and the director of the show.

Fryman also directed Just Shoot Me and Two and a Half Men as reported by The Wrap. Right now she is slated to direct and exec. produce the How I Met Your Mother spinoff, How I Met Your Dad.

The untitled comedy from Tina Fey and Matt Hubbard will be about a women’s college that begins accepting men for the first time in history. Hubbard wrote the script for the series and he will executive produce alongside Fey, Robert Carlock and David Miner.

This marks the second green light for Little Stranger (Universal Television and Fey’s production company ) in its first development season. According to Deadline, the company also has a 13-episode comedy order at NBC for a project penned by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock starring Ellie Kemper.
