Tim Gunn will host a new fashion series, Under the Gunn, produced by Project Runway’s Bunim/Murray and The Weinstein Co.
According to Deadline, Lifetime is expanding the Project Runway franchise with a 13-episode fashion series. This is the third spinoff of Project Runway, including Project Runway All Stars and Project Accessory.
Under the Gunn will feature past Runway alumni Mondo Guerra, Anya Ayoung-Chee and Nick Verreos. The mentors must manage, coach, cheerlead and give tough love to a team of designers. In the end, only one designer and mentor will be left. Judges for the show will be designer Rachel Roy, celebrity stylist Jen Rade, and fashion correspondent Zanna Roberts Rassi.
Under the Gunn will begin production at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. Bob and Harvey Weinstein, Meryl Poster, Barbara Schneeweiss, Jonathan Murray, Sara Rea, Teri Weidman and Gun will executive produce.
Under The Gunn premieres on Lifetime January 16.
