‘This is Us’ Finally Reveals The Identity of “Her”

Many fans of This is Us fans have been waiting for the identity of ‘Her’ to be revealed. The identity of this mystery woman was revealed in the season three finale, according to CNN . The woman is Rebecca Pearson (Mandy Moore). However, it’s her many years later on her deathbed and her children gathered around her to say their goodbyes. In the scene her husband is absent and sitting next to her is Nicholas Pearson, Jack’s estranged younger brother.

The scene also shows that Rebecca is not in the hospital during this scene, but actually in her son’s (Kevin Pearson) house. At this point Kevin now has a son, but we don’t know who is the mother. Kevin and Zoe Baker also split earlier in the episode, because she is serious about not wanting children. Many fans theorized that “her” was Beth Pearson, due to a lot of the season being focused on her marital problems with Randall Pearson, but a flash forward in time quickly changed viewers minds.

One moment in the show, caused viewers to believe that Toby Damon and Kate Pearson split when Toby shows up to Kevin’s home by himself. Toby and Kate left the NICU earlier in the episode with their newborn son, Jack, who was born 12 weeks early. During a flash-forward we see Jack with Kate so viewers learn that he makes it past his health struggles.

Although this episode answered many questions, some were left unanswered such as where is Beth and Randall’s foster child, Deja? Who did Kevin father a child with? What is happening with Kate and Toby, and what happened to Miguel? Maybe these questions will be answered in season four, which doesn’t have a premiere date yet.
