An exciting announcement surrounding the famous fantasy franchise, Game of Thrones, has been announced, further expanding the land of Westeros. Reported by Screenrant, HBO has scheduled to release a new limited edition box set for Fall 2026, promising 15 hours of brand-new content to reignite the pop-culture phenomenon that originally ended in 2019. The series was well known for its excellent narrative and breaking traditional fantasy tropes, in which no characters were safe from the overwhelming threats such as white walkers, dragons, or other houses.
According to Screenrant, the new physical collection is titled Game of Thrones – 15th Anniversary: The Complete Collection (4K UHD) – Limited Edition Library Case, set for shelves everywhere on November 3, 2026. Available for pre-order now, not only will the set include all the moments from season one to eight, but will also contain exclusive bonuses.
Debuting in 2011, the series’ based on George R. R. Martin’s (A Song of Ice and Fire, Dark Winds) novel saga concluded with Jon Snow, played by Kit Harrington (How to Train Your Dragon, The Eternals), killing off Daenerys, played by Emilia Clarke (Terminator: Genisys, Ponies), to stop her tyranny from spreading. Bran, played by Isaac Hempstead Wright (The Boxtrolls, Voyagers), was later elected as the new king. Due to his action, Jon was exiled back to the Night’s Watch.
The box set features the two-part Game of Thrones: Reunion Special, hosted by Conan O’Brien in April 2021, alongside the documentary Game of Thrones: The Last Watch. Also included is Conquest & Rebellion: An Animated History of the Seven Kingdoms. This collection arrives amid broader franchise expansions, including the announcement of Game of Thrones: Aegon’s Conquest, the series’ first theatrical film designed to bring the world of Westeros to the big screen.
All installments of the Game of Thrones franchise, which include House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms , are available to stream on HBO Max.
