‘The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon’ Teaser Reveals Carol’s Fierceness In Season Two Of Spinoff Series

Do not underestimate Carol. According to Deadline, AMC Networks has unveiled the initial teaser for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon — The Book of Carol. Premiering during the recent Parish season premiere, the teaser showcases Melissa McBride’s (The Mist, The Walking Dead) Carol on a resolute quest to uncover the whereabouts of her friend Daryl, played by Norman Reedus (The Boondock Saints, American Gangster), displaying unwavering determination. “Don’t move. Keep your guns down. Where is my friend?” Carol says as she is armed with a crossbow.

According to the logline, the latest season resumes from the conclusion of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, where both characters confront their past demons. As Carol endeavors to locate her friend amidst her struggles, Daryl grapples with the repercussions of his choice to remain in France, leading to tension at the Nest.

Deadline reports Reedus and McBride are joined by a stellar cast including Clémence Poésy (In Bruges, Tenet), Louis Puech Scigliuzzi (Show Me More), Laika Blanc Francard (Reign Supreme, My Night), Anne Charrier (Paid, Par le sang), Romain Levi (Savages, Les Invisibles), and Eriq Ebouaney (Lumumba, Femme Fatale). 

The series is helmed by executive producers David Zabel (ER, Keith), Scott M. Gimple (Fillmore!, Life), Reedus, McBride, Greg Nicotero (Day of the Dead, Creepshow), Angela Kang (Terriers), Brian Bockrath (The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead), Daniel Percival (Dirty War, The State Within), Jason Richman (Detroit 1-8-7, Bad Company), and Steve Squillante (Locke, A Haunted House). 

The series comes after the completion of The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live spinoff featuring Andrew Lincoln (Love, Actually, Penguin Bloom) and Danai Gurira (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, All Eyez On Me) reprising their roles as Rick and Michonne in a love story amidst the brand new world.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon — The Book of Carol is set to premiere this summer on AMC and AMC+.
