Amazon Studios has released a new Season 1 Part 2 trailer of The Tick. Season 1 of The Tick will continue with the debut of six all new episodes on Friday, February 23, 2018.
In a world where superheroes fly, mild-mannered accountant Arthur Everest (Griffin Newman) suspects The City is controlled by a villain by the name of The Terror (Jackie Earle Haley), even though there is evidence that The Terror has died 15 years ago. Arthur’s traumatic connection with The Terror has caused him to obsessively track The Terror’s movements since childhood. Dot (Valorie Curry), Arthur’s sister who is a paramedic, adores her brother but also shows him tough love. She warns him to “keep it real” when he talks about conspiracies concerning super-villains.
Arthur soon befriends a man with superpowers and a mysterious past, The Tick (Peter Serafinowicz). They investigate the mystery surrounding The Terror and draw attention from the electrifying enigma known as Miss Lint and an incredibly violent vigilante named Overkill, confronting the problem of the struggle between good and evil. The cast of The Tick includes Serafinowicz, Newman, Haley, Curry, Yara Martinez, Brendan Hines, Scott Speiser, Michael Cerveris, John Pirkis, and Alan Tudyk.
