Taryn Manning Made Series Regular in ‘Orange Is The New Black’

Lionsgate has upped Taryn Manning to a series regular for its prison drama Orange Is The New Black, Deadline reports.

The Netflix original series received an order for a second season last month from the online streaming site. In the prison drama, Manning plays Tiffany ‘Pennsatucky’ Doggett, a meth addict who is the youngest of six children born to drug and alcohol addicted parents in rural Virginia. She goes to jail after shooting a nurse at the abortion clinic she visits frequently. Manning’s character makes steady appearances towards the end of the first season.

Manning is repped by APA, Oren Segal of Radius Entertainment and Felker Toczek Gellman Suddleson LLP. She has appeared in shows Hawaii Five-O and Sons Of Anarchy. Her movie credits include “Love Ranch”, “Hustle & Flow”, “Cold Mountain”, “8 Mile”, “A Lot Like Love”, “White Oleander”, “Crazy/Beautiful” and “Crossroads”. She has recently completed filming “Low Down” from writer/producer Jeff Preiss.
