Tom Hardy is back for revenge in intense new Taboo Trailer. The new FX show premiering on January 10th 2017 will show the intense main storyline and the quest for revenge. The main character, played by the British actor, Tom Hardy shows the abuse suffered by his character and the plight he would go to making sure he got justice. Taboo released by BBC is co-produced between BBC One and FX. They debuted their first trailer in February. On the trailer, Tom Hardy is out for revenge in the intense new trailer for the series Taboo, and says
“You look the same,” Tom Hardy’s character is told amid cut scenes of various people shocked to see him, saying that they thought he was dead.
“I’m not,” he replies.–
Although, whatever was done to try to kill Hardy’s main character in the past didn’t work out, he is still a target. “That man will hang for treason,” one man shouts in the trailer. “Just kill him,” yells another.
As mentioned on Variety, the series displays Hardy as an adventurer named James Delaney who, thought to be dead, returns to Britain to avenge his father’s death. The miniseries was created by Steven Knight, Tom Hardy and his father Chips. Ridley Scott serves as an exec producer on the eight-episode series. The first four episodes were directed by Kristoffer Nyholm. Hardy and Knight previously collaborated on the film “Locke” and BBC Two drama “Peaky Blinders,” which streams on Netflix in the U.S.Oona Chaplin, David Hayman, Michael Kelly and Jonathan Pryce round out the series’ main cast.
With the acting performance of Tom Hardy and cast it is projected that Taboo will please any FX watchers. It has been successful in the UK and worldwide. The vision of the series is to remain dark and collide with the taboo subjects of that day. Tom Hardy is even seen baring his soul, he is nude in some of the scenes and shows off his body art. This would make any tattoo aficionado happy.
The new FX series will soon premiere and by its trailers seems very violent. It is very dark and passionate. Like Tom Hardy’s role in The Revenant. However, he is a protagonist. He will carry the main feature as a hopeful candle that will never blow out. It is on its way up to being another dark cult classic. Maybe in FX history.
