‘Superstore’ NBC’s New Sitcom Created By ‘The Office’s’ Alum And Starring America Ferrera

Justin Spitzer, who was a producer and writer for the award winning television series “The Office” created a new workplace comedy TV show called “Superstore.”

According to NBC, the plot of “Superstore” revolves around a hilarious and family-like group of employees who work at Cloud 9, a supersize megastore. And this includes a range of employee “types” such as the rookies who don’t know much and the hardcore seasoned employees to the spaced out seasonal hires and the lifelong dedicated managers. Collectively, the employees of “Superstore” hysterically take on the many challenges that come with working at a Walmart-esque “Superstore.” This includes the intense and in your face customers, mega sales that incite riots, and training sessions that lead to snooze-fests among the diverse team of employees at “Superstore.”

The cast of “Superstore” includes lead actress America Ferrera who plays Amy, an intelligent, committed, and also one of the few level-headed employees at Cloud 9. Amy keeps the employees at Cloud 9 together despite the many wild antics that happen continuously at the “Superstore.”

Other actors on the show include Ben Feldman, Lauren Ash, Colton Dunn, Nico Santos, Nichole Bloom, and Mark McKinney.
