According to Comicbook, the prequel play to the ongoing Netflix series Stranger Things has recently revealed their cast. Stranger Things: First Shadows has revealed its cast and even shared actors who will be playing the young versions of known Stranger Things characters such as Jim Hopper, Joyce Byers, Bob Newby, and Henry Creel. The play takes place in Hawkins, Indiana 1959. Kate Trefry (Drive) wrote the play, with Stephen Daldry (Unicorns) directing and Justin Martin (Together) co-directing. The play opens at the Phoenix Theater on December 14th.
The cast for the play includes Oscar Lloyd (Doctor Who) as James Hopper, Jr., Isabella Pappas (Finding Alice) as Joyce Maldonado, Christopher Buckley (Thank You for Smoking) as Bob Newby, Michael Jibson (Quiz) as Victor Creel, Patrick Vaill (Dash & Lily) as Dr. Brenner, Shane Attwooll (Legend) as Chief Hopper, Kemi Awoderu (Medea) as Sue Anderson, Chase Brown (Urban Myths) as Lonnie Byers, Ammar Duffus (Doctors) as Charles Sinclair, Gilles Geary (Archive 81) as Ted Wheeler, Florence Guy (Tom Jones) as Karen Childress, Max Harwood as Allen Munson (Black Mirror), Louis McCartney (Game of Thrones) as Henry Creel, Matthew Pidgeon (this House) as Father Newby, Calum Ross (Wednesday) as Walter Henderson, Maisie Norma Seaton (Dance Nation) as Claudia Henderson, Lauren Ward (Torchwood) as Virginia Creel and Ella Karuna Williams (Ava) as Patty Newby.
