Fox ordered eight episodes of the Steve Carell produced Slide Show that pits celebrities and comedians against one another in a test of mind and body, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Slide Show will feature two teams competing in a series of challenges. Teams will have to think on their feet as they face unpredictable song, dance and sketch challenges all while trying to navigate the studio set, which will be tilted at a 22.5 degree angle.
Fox Entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly says, “Slide Show is the most ridiculously fun and out-there thing I’ve seen in quite a while. Steve Carell knows a thing or two about big laughs, and I am really happy to be working with Steve again, and the team at Shine, to bring Slide Show to Fox.”
