Steve Carell is going into business with TBS.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Steve Carell is working with his wife, Nancy Carell, on a police comedy. The couple will create and executive produce the comedy Tribeca that is actually a satirical look at the police procedures.
The single-camera comedy centers on Angie Tribeca, who is a ten-year LAPD veteran of the RHCU (Really Heinous Crimes Unit). The plot centers a brilliant group of people who are investigating crimes, but who are revealing too much personal information.
Among others, Nancy Carell’s credits include The Goode Family, The Office and roles in The Bridesmaids and The 40-Year-Old Virgin.
