With Season 8 of Big Bang Theory looming down on CBS, the stars of the hit sit-com still are waiting on their new deals, per the Hollywood Reporter.
Despite being stars of the number one rated sit-com among 18-49 year olds, Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, and Kunal Nayyar are still without contracts for the impending season 8. Since the huge renewal deal for the series, the cast has had much more leverage to negotiate pay-raises with, but the negotiations have been at a stand-still since September when they began. Galecki, Parsons, and Cuoco, who all earn $325,000 per episode right now, are looking for $1 million an episode next season.
These negotiations are expected to be a huge source of conversation when CBS Entertainment Chairman Nina Tassler speaks with the Television Critics’ Association on Thursday.
