According to ScreenRant, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law star Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) recently responded to Disney CEO Bob Iger after his comments on the strikes and labels him “completely out of touch.” This is after Iger’s comment about the ongoing strike in Hollywood shortly after the Screen Actors Guild joined together with the Writers Guild of America in the front lines of the picket lines. The Disney CEO had a televised interview in which he stated that the demands the guilds were asking for were “just not realistic.”
Down below is a Twitter post showing Iger’s statement.

According to ScreenRant, many Hollywood figures retaliated against the comment from the CEO who makes an annual salary of $27 million; this includes Anson Mount, known for being Black Bolt in Inhumans and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as well as the great grand-niece of Walt Disney, Abigail Disney (The Art of Rebellion). Maslany has recently joined many in voicing their opinion over Iger’s statement. While being part of the picket lines in New York she spoke with The Hollywood Reporter and said that her Disney boss is “completely out of touch.”
Maslany said, “I think he’s completely out of touch. He’s completely out of touch with the workers who make his shows happen, who make people watch these shows, who bring viewers to him and him money.”
She continued, “Having worked on a Disney show, I know where people fall through the cracks and where people are taken advantage of and it’s outrageous the amount of wealth that is not shared with the people who actually make the show. That’s crew, cast, writers.”
