On Sunday the world lost the talented C. Martin Croker who was perhaps best known for voicing the character Zorak and Moltar on Space Ghost Coast to Coast.
Croker, who was also an animator, died on Sunday from an undisclosed cause, Deadline reports. He was only 54. To honor the late actor, Adult Swim has posted almost the entire series online to stream for free. You can find over 70 episodes of Space Ghost Coast to Coast on adultswim.com
Croker was most well known for his voice acting on Space Ghost Coast to Coast which could be best described as a mashup of a rebooted cartoon from the 1960’s Hanna-Barbera series Space Ghost and a late night talk show. The cartoon was hosted by the animated Space Ghost and featured live-action guests. Fans of the show loved Zorak, the supervillain who also serves as the show’s bandleader.
Corker also voiced Zorak in the spinoffs including Cartoon Planet and The Brak Show. All the way through 2014 Croker voiced Zorak and Moltar in any and all Space Ghost projects.
Aside from his work on Space Ghost, Croker also voiced Dr. Weird and Steve, his assistant, on Aqua Teen Hunger Force which, like Space Ghost, aired on the Adult Swim time-block on Cartoon Network. In addition to his acting credits, Croker was an animator who’s work appear on Ugly Americans and he served as the animation director for 92 Episodes of Space Ghost Coaset to Coast.
Although missed, C. Martin Croker and his work will never be forgotten.
