Showtime Releases ‘Ray Donovan’ Season 4 Premiere Early Online

Good news, Ray Donovan fans. Showtime has released the season 4 premiere early online.

The fourth season of Showtime’ hit drama series Ray Donovan is scheduled to premiere this Sunday, June 26 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. However, starting today, those without a Showtime subscription can catch the episode for free through several different avenues. The season premiere is available to stream on YouTube and SHO.com, and can be downloaded for free as a video podcast on iTunes. The episode is also available for free on several different TV On Demand channels.

Of course, we can’t help but wonder if the early release is due to the highly anticipated Game of Thrones season finale which will be airing on HBO at the same time as the Ray Donovan premiere over on Showtime.

Liev Schreiber returns in his three-time Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated role as the title character, Ray Donovan. Donovan is the best professional fixer in L.A., he’s the guy the rich and famous call when they have a complicated or dangerous situation they need to have taken care of.

This season, Ray hopes to seek redemption, but is quickly drawn back into the business when he meets professional boxer Hector Campos (Ismael Cruz Cordova) and his sister Marisol (Lisa Bonet), who share a dangerous secret. Following last season’s shootout with the Armenian Mafia, Ray find himself being manipulated and used by Sonia Kovitky, (Embeth Davidtz), who is a wealthy art connoisseur. Despite being on the run, Mickey (Jon Voight, in his Emmy nominated and Golden Globe winning role) plans to exploit local casino owner Little Bill Primm (Ted Levine) in Nevada. As they prepare for their first child, Bunchy (Dash Mihok) and Teresa (Alyssa Diaz) struggle with their relationship. Terry (Eddie Marsan), after suffering a life-threatening injury, focuses on the Fite Club and gets Daryll’s (Pooch Hall) help training a new recruit. And when Abby (Paula Malcomson) learns some shocking medical news, she begins to question her role as a wife and mother.

Guest starring in this season of Ray Donovan are Emmy nominee Lisa Bonet, Golden Globe winner Stacy Keach, Oscar nominee Diane Ladd, Golden Globe winner Dabney Coleman, Embeth Davidtz, Ted Levine, Gabriel Mann, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Chris Coppola and Billy Lush.
