Season Two Trailer Released For HBO’s ‘House Of The Dragon’

HBO released the official trailer for the second season of House of the Dragon, according to an official press release. The news was released during the CCXP23 panel in São Paulo, Brazil. The season will begin streaming in the summer of 2024. View the teaser trailer below:

The press release also stated the logline for the show, saying that it is “Based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, the series, set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen.” 

Returning cast members of the show include Matt Smith (Doctor Who), Olivia Cooke (Ready Player Two), Emma D’Arcy (For People In Trouble) Eve Best (Someone You Love), Steve Toussaint (Red, White and Blue), Fabien Frankel (Venice at Dawn), Ewan Mitchell (World on Fire), Tom Glynn-Carney (The King), Sonoya Mizuno (Devs), and Rhys Ifans (Notting Hill), says the press release

New cast members of the show include Clinton Liberty (Red Election) as Addam of Hull, Jamie Kenna (Code of Silence) as Ser Alfred Broome, Kieran Bew (Warrior) as Hugh, Tom Bennett (Family Tree) as Ulf, Tom Taylor (The Dark Tower) as Lord Cregan Stark, and Vincent Regan (One Piece) as Ser Rickard Thorne, are all mentioned in the press release. Previously announced new season two cast includes Abubakar Salim (Raised by Wolves) as Alyn of Hull, Gayle Rankin (Bad Things) as Alys Rivers, Freddie Fox (White House Farm) as Ser Gwayne Hightower, and Simon Russell Beale (The Outfit) as Ser Simon Strong.

The press release also cited that George R.R. Martin (Game of Thrones) serves as co-creator with Rydan Condal (Colony). Along with them, they have executive producers Sara Hess (House), Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World), Melissa Bernstein (Breaking Bad), Kevin de la Noy (Titanic), Loni Peristere (The Haunted), and Vince Gerardis (Game of Thrones).

The newest season of House of The Dragon will  consist of eight episodes which will all be available to stream on Max as well as released on HBO, according to the press release
