Season Four of ‘The Bear’ Allegedly To Begin Filming Immediately After Season Three Wraps

The tale of the Chicago chef continues. According to Deadline, insiders from the Emmy-winning series The Bear have stirred up some rumors that a fourth season will be added beginning to film soon. While the third season has been confirmed and announced in November, the fourth season has yet to be officially announced.

While the fourth season is yet to be publicly announced, there have been several sources that have indicated that the series will allegedly begin to film its fourth season back to back with the previously confirmed season three in Chicago. When Deadline reached out to a spokesperson from FX, they declined to comment. 

The rumors about The Bear beginning to film more seasons past the third started circulating throughout local Chicago businesses during filming this week. The rapid pace of the filming of the third season and possibly fourth season led to the speciation that the series may be concluding there has yet to be any announcement or rumors regarding a fifth season or any continuation. The back-to-back filming of the seasons could be because of the busy schedules of Emmy and Golden Globe-willing actors Jeremy Allan White (Shameless) and Ayo Edebiri (Bottoms) that are beginning to fill up due to their high-demand talents.

While the fourth season speculations are not concrete, Chicago casting and production outlets have posted for talent further than season three as soon as filming wraps for the third season. According to Deadline, this same situation has happened with another FX series, Atlanta as the third and fourth seasons filmed back to back right before the conclusion of the series. 

Filming for the third season has begun and is underway in the city of Chicago. The first season of The Bear swept the award seasons, bringing in a grand total of 10 Emmy awards including Outstanding Comedy Series, and several Golden Globe awards including Best Television Series.

The third season of The Bear will premiere this June on FX and will be streaming on Hulu.
