The CW has maintained radio silence when it came to their hit summer show, The 100…until now. A trailer for season 5 of the show has finally been released.
During this new season the group will be faced with a host of threats while Clarke (Eliza Taylor) attempts to get the lay of the land and protect her ward from season 4, Mady (Lola Flanery) who she rescued when everyone else evacuated back to space.
This piece flashes forward to six years after the events of the season 4 finale where all members of the group have been separated. Clarke is prominently featured (along with Mady) still stranded on Earth and attempting to contact Bellamy (Bob Morley).
Other members of the crew are getting their bearings having returned to the Ark Ring while Monty works on reaching out to possible survivors back on the planet. Additionally Octavia (Maria Avgeropoulus) finds herself thrown into the leadership role she has fought to avoid up to this point.
The countdown is on as we await for the return of The 100, April 24 on the CW.
