Sadie Laflamme-Snow Joins Andie MacDowell in ‘The Way Home’ at Hallmark

Hallmark Channel’s upcoming series, The Way Home, has added Sadie Laflamme Snow (The Apprentice) in a prominent role, as stated in Hallmark’s press release. The actress joins previously announced cast members Chyler Leigh (Taxi Brooklyn) and Andie MacDowell (Groundhog Day), who will star in the series.

Laflamme-Snow will play Andie Landry, a 15-year-old who moves with her mother Kat, played by Leigh, to her childhood home in Port Haven, New Brunswick. In the farm town, Andie is introduced to her grandmother Del (Andie MacDowell) for the first time due to a life-changing event that caused Kat and Del’s estrangement. The move causes Kat to adjust to her parents’ separation, accept her surroundings, and stumble on a shocking path leading to answers about her family’s past.

Senior Vice President of Development at Hallmark Media, Laurie Ferneau, commented on the recent casting in a press release. She shared, “We’re so pleased to have Sadie Laflamme-Snow as the youngest member [of] the Landry women in The Way Home. In her we’ve found the perfect complement to Andie MacDowell and Chyler Leigh, and we can’t wait to see these three talented actresses help us bring the series to life.”

Laflamme-Snow’s recent credits include roles in YTV’s Game On, Morgana McKenzie’s Wild, and Lifetime films Sinister Switch and Love Triangle Nightmare. She is also set to star in the upcoming movie Cascade by director Egidio Coccimiglio (Compulsion). Laflamme-Snow is a Toronto actress and graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada. Last year, she was selected as a finalist for WBTV’s Actors in Training Program.

Leigh’s recent credits include The Flash, Supergirl, Grey’s Anatomy, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and Arrow. MacDowell’s recent work includes roles in Sarah Elizabeth Mintz’s Good Girl Jane, Netflix’s Along for the Ride, and Emmy-nominated comedy Mr. Mayor. MacDowell also starred in the Emmy-nominated series Maid, which earned her a Hollywood Critics Association Award nomination for her work as Paula Langley in the 2021 series.

The series is executive produced by Larry Grimaldi (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills), Lauren MacKinlay (Transplant), Hannah Pillemer (Stay Awake), Marly Reed (Heart of Down Under), Fernando Szew (Rounding), and Arnie Zipursky (Midnight at the Magnolia). The Way Home will premiere in 2023 on Hallmark Channel.
