According to DeadlineAlan’s Universe is influenced by Korean dramas. Co-created and led by Alan Chikin Chow (Mean GirlsInto the Dark), the project is a high school comedy show and web-only series, meaning it’s available exclusively on the internet and not on traditional TV.

Chow told Deadline, “Chelsea’s ability to light up every room she walks in with magnetic charisma and energy is core to our team. In this new generation of content, Chelsea has the timeless talent to ground stories with her fantastic commitment to her characters. I’m beyond proud of Chelsea for being an outstanding leading lady, and for being one of my best friends. We’ve gone from being friends at USC, to filming together for fun on our phones, to starring in this incredible production together. The best is yet to come!”

Sik received multiple Best Actress awards at film festivals for her role in the short film Foreign Planetary. She was featured in content produced by LaughMD, an app designed to help improve patients’ moods and health through laughter. Additionally, Sik starred in an independent film called Heartstorm, produced by Arianna Lady Basco (The Fabulous Filipino Brothers, Glimmer), sister of Dante Basco (Hook, But I’m a Cheerleader).
