Mike Kelley and Melissa Loy will create and develop new projects for HBO.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cable network has signed a two-year contract with the ABC’s Revenge creator and his producing partner, Melissa Loy.
This pact comes after Kelley stepped down as the ABC’s Sunday soap starring Emily VanCamp. The executive producer Sunil Nayar will take over the series, as reported by THR.
Kelley also created Swingtown (CBS) and he will join George Mastras, Russell Simmons, Mike White and George R.R. Martin among others at HBO.
Revenge is a drama about the daughter of a framed executive who wants to infiltrate the upper Hamptons society. Her plan is to revenge her father who was set up by different people. The series is now at the third season.
